Default field charger

So I have this automotive power station/jump box and was wondering if it can be used to power my hitec x4 in the field. It has a cigarette lighter input. Can I just modify a car charger cable to fit the dc input on the x4?

Thanks

You're better off just buying a deep cycle marine battery and be done. The jump box might work depending on the capacity of the battery in it. Plus you would need a heavy duty cigarette lighter plug.

I fabbed up a car charger cable and the charger would light up, but would not charge a battery. Then I connected the dc leads from the charger directly to the clamps on the jump box, and was able to charge a 3s lipo without issue...
