Which radio to purchase
I am looking for info on a radio purchase. I should be receiving my scte anytime now and I'm gonna need a radio. I have been out of the hobby for quite awhile. Just to give you an idea, last radio was a Futaba Attack stick radio. My newest vehicle is a Losi NXT. I am going to be racing so I need a good radio. I want to buy a good radio the first time but do not want to break the bank if not necessary. I have been looking at the Spektrum dx3r pro and the Futaba 3pm-x. I have only held the dx3r pro and a dx4s. I like the drop down wheel and I believe I would like the tension adjustability of the dx3r pro. I believe I want one with the servo speed adjustable also to ramp up to the faster servos. Are there any must haves that I should look out for? The Spektrums seem to be the most popular at the local track.

Now it look like I've added the Airtronics and KO Propo to my list.

Futaba 4pl is pretty hard to beat. Quality radio and the receivers are only $40 each.

Any more input? Like what you are using. What you like and dislike about it..

Another vote for the 4PL. Feels good, price is more than fair for the features, receivers are a lot less expensive than others, and it's a Futaba!! However if money wasn't an issue, I would definitely get an Airtronics M12. I owned an M11x and it was sweet. The M12 takes it to a whole other level.

I like Ko PROPO very best quality bar none!
if you don't want to spend a crazy amont of $$
One of those EX5 UR's should be good for you they sell the set with 2 RX's
the cheaper 2.4 futabas are nice also better than spektrum
1 ko
2 airtronics
3 futaba
