definitely go for the hobbywing! what class's do you run in? stock or mod? if you go wih the hobbywing you also have the choice of getting the really nice program card for around 9 bucks extra it's a great deal! the best place too buy hobbywing stuff is from falconsekido.com they have a nice 180 day warranty on all stuff bought from them, good luck with your decision

dont just think that because the Tekin stuff costs more that its better. In my opinion Hobbywing is at the TOP of the esc market.

i 100% agree with trickedout. and if your running in stock then you won't be aloud to run any timing or boost on the esc so definitely go for that combo, I assume your talking about the justock esc?

The juststock is a great esc but keep in mind any motor upgrades you plan on doing in the future. i beleive its only 45a and will handle down to around 11.5t motor. So if your thinking you may try boost or running mod with 10.5t or lower you might want to go for the Xtreme stock or the xerun 60a to be safe for future upgrades.

i know a lot of people who run just 10.5's in there buggies (its really about the size of track your going too be running on) but i don't know about the short course trucks, everyone is so into the 4-pole or 550 setups at my local tracks for there short courses in mod

edit: but it also states that for off-road it is not recommended to go lower then a 11.5 turn motor on the justock

yes it comes with wire, should be already soldered up too but i don't know if it is in the combo (i don't know why it wouldn't be) deans would be the best way too go but i always just use straight too the battery with bullet connectors on the end.
