I purchased my iT4 2-13-13 and have no issues except for the binding problem. By now all the iT4 Transmitters are fixed. A lot of features for half the price of a 4@$% and can do everything all the top end Tx can do at 1/4 the price point! Love this Radio

Hey guys new to the forum and had a couple questions in regard to the FlySky iT4 2.4G so I figured I would consult the experts... I purchased this controller recently and have used it about 5 times. I am currently using it in my Team Associated RC8. Yesterday I had my car freeze at about 60% throttle and 20% left turn.... completely unresponsive, flew off the track thankfully getting stuck in a bush and had to run to it to turn it off. I'am not new to the RC world and have never had this happen to me ever. It was only about 20 ft. away and both the car and controller had good battery life. I also set the throttle trim and steering trim to 0 in case of loss of connectivity. once I turned it off and back on and everything worked fine. Just wondering if anyone else has heard of this happening.

Has anyone been successful at binding the it4 to the old 3 channel receivers?

I've had this happen with my FLY SKY FS-GT3B. Same as you close range. After
a good inspection i noticed a small crimp on the rx wire near where it exists the housing. i got a replacement and put shrink tubing at base to prevent the crimping. Check your rx antenna.

Hoping some one can help me out with this new to me it4 that i got from hobby parts. It has version 1.01 firmware and im running a miniz with it and am not able to get it to run another miniz no matter how i try. I also have it bound to the rx that came with it but dont have another rx yet to try to see if it will bind to both. The miniz didnt bind either but it paired? and works fine but only with the 1 car in afhds not the 1 with the 2 at the end

Are these still a good option? I just sold my dx3r pro to a buddy that needed a radio and I'm in the market for a good affordable radio. This flysky looks really good and has a excellent price point.

Are all known issues taken care of with this radio?
thanks,
MattP

It seems they solved the issue with the new version, but because I am interested in buying it, I would like to know how its response/latency is.

Well after putting myself off from buying one I finally ordered one, should arrive Wednesday. The temp sensor is the main feature I want to use.

Well it arrived and its all good, just a little disappointed with the seller. He said it was the latest stock direct from the factory but the firmware says 1.01 AU 1/6/2013 (d/m/y). Old stock
