Default Dual Turnigy Accucell 6 setup

I have recently converted one of my old PC powersupplys to give me 12v power and connected 2 Turnigy Accucell 6 chargers to it with a "custom" walmart drying rack to hold it all together. Let me know what you think and any comments you may have. Powersupply is rated at 16A @12VDC so shouldnt have a problem with the 2 x50 watt chargers. I will be doing a bench test with 2 batteries charging at the same time and see how she holds up as far as voltage drop and temperature of the PS. I have since cleaned it up a little with some zip ties on the power leads and changed the alligator clips that came with it to the male banana plugs I purchased as well.

Awesome. I tried to make one out of a comp PS once but I think it was no good to begin with. If its 16 amp you should have no problem charging two batteries at a time. Even if you charged them both at 6 amps which is max on those chargers that's only 12 amps.

Ya thats what I figured, Eventually I would like to get a dual fan powersupply so I can have a little air blowing up on the chargers too. I just enjoy soldering and tinkering with electronics so this project will never be 100% done. Thanks for the comments

Have you checked power supply output voltage with the 2 chargers connected? Have done this myself with brand new 650W power supply (25A on 12V rail), and under light load of Turnigy 2x200W charger, ie 2 x 2S 5600 packs being charged at 6A each, the power supply output when checked with multimeter is 11.4V

I just bench tested charging 2 2s lipos at 6 amps and didnt have any issues. If I remember correctly the low voltage cutout is either 11 or 10 Volts. I will hook up the multimeter next time I charge 2 batteries to check the voltage droop from full load.
