Default Continuing problems with Hyperion charger!

As the title says I'm still having issues with my Hyperion EOS-0720i-duo, since I bought my first one 15 months ago I've had the first one start to flicker on the left screen then it just shut down, a-main replaced it free of charge, the second one was going fine for about 6 months then the left side again gave a puff of smoke and shut down, in this instance the right side continued to work perfectly, once again no question asked from A-main, just recently the third charger has started to get batteries hot on the left side again like its over charging (funny thing is that it says on the screen that its getting the correct amps to charge at 1c) now the right side works perfectly and doesn't puff batteries at all, I can discharge the same pack and recharge on the left side and it slightly puffs, just last night it totally puffed a set of saddle packs and split both cases, this is the second set I've done in a week, the first set I put down to a bad set but now I'm doubting my charger, I've only ever charged at 1c and I have my packs and charger on timber so I don't get any short circuits......

Is anyone else having these problems I'm considering returning this one for a store credit and getting a different brand, although I thought buying a decent and not cheap brand i should have been right from the start......

Any opinions out there?, once again hats off to A-main as there customer service has been great, I'm considering changing to the cellpro power lab 8, has anyone used and had issues with these?

Cheers Justin

These are known for bad balance boards which ruin lipos. Check out the chargers section on rcgroups forums. Those guy use the hell out of all their chargers for fligh tstuff and usually have plenty to say about things that go wrong.

No more updates with me as far as the Hyperion is concerned, I've returned mine to Amain and when I receive the replacement it will go onto ebay, I've had 3 goes and that's enough, I'm not bagging them but I didn't have a good run.

I did receive my new icharger 4010duo last night, once I got it set up I found it heaps easier to use, more features, easier screen to read and easier to navigate from screens, it also comes with enough balance board outlets to charge 6 (six) 2s batteries, however I can't comment on its long term reliability though as I only just got it.
