Brought a 130t and 130ss emailed amain with jittering issues on the 130ss had no reply servo done 3 race meetings and stopped completely inspect thinking I stripped a gear as was jammed solid gears are mint and a scorch mark under motor. Don't recommend them if you are international as amain doesn't seem to care if you aren't local
|
I must say that has been far from my experience as an international customer of AMain.
What email are you writing to? |
There customer support option on there web page and there Facebook page, bit of shame as they were good at charging and shipping products but ldropped the ball on support
|
Amain customer service has been top notch for me and I'm international also any issue I have ever had has been resolved almost immediately by there support people I would suggest you contact them again I'm sure they will look after you
|
Email: [email protected]
Also, try the online chat. I've found the guys on the end of that very helpful. There is also a thread dedicated to Amain here and the customer service guys are quite active in that. |
I have protek 130ss and 130t what should be my settings to zero them in on my Futaba 4pls. Or what you guys set yours to many all of it.

Budget racer here.
I was curious to know if the 100T would be a good choice for a RC10T5m (stock racing). Thanks for the help. |

The ProTek servos have been tested in every imaginable way, and then tested again. We had a year of real world on track data and testing before a single servo was put up for sale.
We had clear goals in mind for the ProTek servo project. 1. Make the best servos available. 2. Test, test, test until every single team driver was 100% happy with each servos performance. 3. Assure durability for a minimum of 1 year. We had 0 failures during this testing period! 4. The ability to offer the entire servo line at unmatched pricing. We achieved all of our goals and are extremely proud of the project. We stand behind anything we sell and we hope you all enjoy them. If you have any questions about any ProTek products my information is in my signature. |

Protek 150 and 160t are great. Super smooth and fast. But having an issue with Exotek and AE 25t servo horns coming lose.anyone experience this? A lot less with loctite but eventually develop some play more vertically in back and forth rather than side to side . Anyone else?

I have 2 Exotek clamping horns that are giving me a little wobble backwards and forwards. You happen to know the length of the screw needed? Perhaps that could be a culprit

I highly recommend using the clamping horns. Exotek and Protek both offer them for AE cars specifically. HERE

The 170T's are getting it done in the buggy, and the 100SS is still rocking in the Buri Racer! 150T has also been holding on in the E-truggy. Run them all on 6V BEC.
I always use the Protek clamping arms, never have tried another servo Arm / Horn. Run the protek 3x12mm set screws, with a washer and locking nut, not once have i had servo arm issues! I tighten first, then clamp, then loosen the 3mm locknut, recheck the clamp, then final tighten the locknut. |
