Default sigma eq mini chgarger

hey guys im new to electric rc's so wondering if someone can help me with charging my batteries. on the charger it says the volts are going up to 7.8 is this safe?? i am using 7.4v lipo batteries. do i need to change settings from the 4000 to the standard 2700??? does anyone know anything about this charger cause all the numbers are confusing me a little plus i cant find anything in the book about volts!!!!!! only amps any help is gd help cheers

A 2s lipo will charge to 8.4v, once it reaches 8.4v it will hold there and continue to charge. Once hitting 8.4v you'll see the charge amps slowly drop as the pack reaches full charge.

Once the charger shows 8.4v the pack is about 90% charged, you can stop the charge process at that point and run it if you wish.

Without more info I'll say use a 1C charge rate. mah capacity / 1000 = X amps

example.....5000mah / 1000 = 5amp charge rate.
