Default ESC juddering

Dear Readers

I have a himoto baja that for some reason when my batteries are low the car starts to judder when full throttle is applied. Meaning i cant get the full amount out of my NIMH batteries. I think this is my ESC so im planning on getting a dynamite tazer 10T ESC With a 12T ansmann brushed motor. Do you think this is wise? Your comments would be much appreciated.

If you are running the rtr battery of 2000ma, I would start with a bigger better battery.
