the best way for an electric starter is to get a starter box. its basicly a box you set the car on, it has an electric in it with a rubber wheel, it presses up against the flywheel and turn the motor over. its a far better way of starting a nitro engine than a roto-start setup. rotostarts are very hard on one way bearings. if you are careful with it they are ok, however most people end up chewing through a few one way bearings before they learn. my personal view is stick with a starter box unless you have a vehicle that you cant use one (i use a rotostart on my savage because its not possible to use a starter box).
another option is just to get another pullstarter. they arent that bad, most of the problems with them are because the motors are very tight when new, and you end up pulling too hard and breaking the string, or pulling too far. if the motor is new, id recommend pre-heating the motor for the first while till its fully broken in, this will help with some of the pullstart problems.
