Default Transponder Interference RX

We have been having a few problems with some minor interference on the track and some Transponders not counting everytime. I know there is a number of things that can cause these problems.

But the other day one guy pointed out he fixed his problem of it cutting out, His transponder was too close to his Rx. His Mylaps instrustions said keep it 2 inchs apart.

Well this got me to thinking and wondering is this been a issue anybody else has had and is it maybe some of the problems.

Any input is welcome.
