Wow. It is amazing the GT3B fanboys.

I personally raced a full season on a GT3b, on and off road. Then upgraded to a 4PL.

Was there a difference.... F*** Yes! GT3B is fine for bashing but if you are at all serious about racing please do yourself a favor and get a decent radio.

This hobby is called Remote Control. So get a good remote control because it is the single most important thing you can invest in.

my son and i both had the 3b and for bashing it was just ok for racing it was a joke. During a race there were times when the rx would come unbound all youd have to do is turn it off and back on again but in the middle of a race that doesnt fly.

I now have a 4pl and love it my son has a airtronics m11 and both 3b's are in the garbage i wouldnt even feel right selling them

Update 2
I raced this past sat for the 1st time with the 4pl. The response time is amazing. To my surprise I was able to pick up 3-4 secs with my ebug and 2 secs with my 2wd buggy per lap. No problem with range and no interference. Man this thing has so many options. Didn't think a radio would make you feel more confident. Glad I made the purchase.

Anybody reading this thread kind of getting the picture from the last 2 pages? Flysky is crap and the 4pl is the radio you should have bought in the first place. Good on those who did the right thing and got a 4pl.

And here I thought for years that RC meant RADIO Control. Remote control can also include Infrared, wired, tethered or anything else.

Try not to ignore a truly profound statement because of semantics.

Ouch, if I only read/found this post first..

I ordered a yellow 3c with an extra battery.. It's in the mail to be delivered..

Tack on another 25$ to make it work properly (opening up your new radio, making holes, etc..) and I'm in the hole $85. Do we know for sure it will solve all challenges? Also clearly you need to modify the power switch as well...(heck might as well since you have it opened up and your soldering gun warmed up already..)

I just recently bought a savox 1257tg as well. I may think twice about the 3c now..

For the record.. that 4pl at tower is 220 shipped..

Anyone lookin for a yellow,3c with an extra battery new? Lol

Futaba's stuff has a MAP price that won't be advertised as lower than that number until you log in or add it to your cart at most places. $219 is pretty much the standard once you do that, I just checked Stormer and it's that way, I'd assume Tower has some sort of similar pricing deal.

Spend 249.99 use code 010AD at checkout or $30 off and free shipping. (good toward any purchase.. not just the Futaba line)

Theres more codes based on your order total, but that's what I just used, plus you can flex pay if you need to.

I happen to concur with many folks here, your radio is important.

..so who wants the 3C? :P

Not nearly as bad as Futaba fan boys.

I had a 4pl, it lasted 2 weeks, apparantly I was turning the steering wheel too fast and the stops broke, would Futaba warranty it? HELL NO!

I use an Airtronics MT4 now for racing and an MXV for bashing, both solid radios very fast and solid. My 3 yr old has a GT3C and he's dropped it, left it outside, thrown it during a tantrum and it's still going strong.

I wouldn't recommend a 4pl to my worst enemy, biggest pile of s#it I've ever have the misfortune of laying down $$ for.

Ahh we meet again!!:sneaky You are the only hater on the 4pl i have ever seen. Check all the other threads you've posted in about the 4pl and you are the single person i have ever heard of that has bad luck with it. Your opinion obviously can't be trusted since you like flysky and ONLY you have had problems with the 4pl. Troll somewhere else.
