I have a savox 2270 servo that I use for my throttle and have been using it all this season. All my trims are correct no over straining of the servo. My question is I was running in my 30 minute main this weekend and with 7 minutes to go the servo stopped responding. I got the car off the track and got toy trailer and it started working again. But as soon as I cranked the car it stopped working again. I felt of the servo and it was warm but not hot. So sitting at home yesterday I went to check it again and it was working fine. I haven't had any issues all season even in the 100 degree weather with the servo over heating.

Its called thermal recovery.. Once you use the servo for a given time and stops working and then in time starts working again its finished. Its due to old age and they run in a very harsh environment so they dont last forever.

And the longer this problem goes on the shorter the time it takes to thermal and not respond. And dont forget the temps will shorten life span a little but not a huge issue.
Time to replace your servo mate with a new one.
They are not worth fixing by the time you send it away and they send it back and then you have to pay for them to replace the parts it will be worth more than the servo or any other highend servo. Just on a side note savox are ok but dont like being pushed to their limits and they have unrealistic numbers in specs so they are very over rated compared to what the servo can actually do. I know I will cop some flak from others that love savox and say they never have had a issue but I can assure you to go with something better and a dearer price range and you will not regret it.

I wish I could offer you radiopost servos but I do realise they are out of stock right now... Cause I have been running them for a solid year and I tell ya everyone wants them here in the racing scene in Aus but I cant get stock

As for Ko servos man you will not go wrong with them either.... Very very high quality servo that matches up to their numbers and by far a better driving experience and the control over your car you will never turn back
