Default ESC connection to Batteries

Hi, I have just purchased a B44.1 that came with some saddle pack batteries (ZIPPY Flightmax 5700mAh 2S3P 25C saddle pack), they use a 4mm Bullet-Connector.

I am using an ESC from my previous car that has just one deans connection, I have found this cord at HK (HXT-4mm Plug Harness for 2S Hardcase Saddle pack Lipoly Batteries).

If I change the deans connection on my car to a Bullet 4mm will that work? If so then how do i charge these batteries? Use the same cord just one battery at a time?

I did try to give URL's but i haven't posted enough threads to do so.

Cheers,
Jd

hi jdenit.. I would stay away from plugging and unplugging bullets..stay with deans..and no not 1 cell at a time..each cell is 4.2v..then put in series u get 8.4..I would suggest building ur own..try going into ur local hobby store and seeing if someone there can make u one..if not i have extras E mail me and I'll sell u what u need..TnT

It should look something like this. Positive connector to positive on one pack, a negative to positive bridge across, then negative back to the connector.

Thanks for your inout!

Just want to clarify a few things...

1. There are two different ways to set this up, Parralel and Series. I want to use a parralel setup?

2. When charging i have both batteries plugged in and charging at the same time.

3. Deans connection is better than Bullet? so essentially I want to set up 4mm Bullet-connector to deans connection. (4mm Bullet-connector to batteries, then deans to ESC.

Also, thank you for offering to sell me a pre-made one, but I live in Australia so im probably better off trying to make my own than paying for all that postage and having to wait for it to arrive.

Cheers,
Jd
