Hey Danny,

Just checking to see if there is an update to the 6500-60-3s packs. I know you said they would come after you got the 4s packs in. Thanks!

I have put the future shipments of packs from the supplier that makes the 40C and 60C packs on hold until I can resolve the connector issue as I have specified that we need real connectors.

I know you have been waiting for awhile but I can't risk getting more packs with knock off connectors. Feel free to email me if you want your order cancelled.

I know your frustrated just as much as we are. How much longer do you anticipate the delay. Thanks!

Very hard to say. I will post an update as soon as I know something. Trying to work out something now that maybe interesting but can only let everyone know once I'm sure. Hang tight for a few more days.

I'm sure I'm not alone in saying this , either send the bare inboard pack with no leads. Or throw in two bullets and a bare balance plug with the small balance bullet attached.

Yeah, I can put my own connectors on myself, that doesn't bother me.

We do pay for packs with connectors and we expect the supplier to use real ones as they have in the past. They sent us a shipment with knock offs and we can't allow this to happen again. Working to resolve this issue as soon as possible.

Assuming we are talking about the same thing, the inboard pack with the ports your bullets plug into not the pack with the wires coming out terminating to your plug of choice...

The charge lead doesn't really matter, that's just passing 5a to maybe 20a during a charge. Not 150a+ running the car.

I don't remember even getting a charge lead with my pack but I don't care as I have more than i need laying around and I keep two with my charger that I've used for a long time and I change out the bullets (not bird cage) every once in a while. But a knock off deans or real deans will do the same job for charging your inboard pack.

If I were waiting for a pack and the only thing holding it up was a knock off connector, I wouldn't care... send it and I'll throw a spare deans that I have in my box on if I was ordering the direct wire pack. If it were an inboard pack... send it without anything.

But the old switcharoo... typical China

I'm thinking the same thing. First it was the 12awg when in reality it's 14awg wire in the pack. Now it's the plugs. I'm sure at some point it'll be the lipo's themselves i.e. 40c is really 25c. Now I'm curious if this was the demise of the GenAce packs.

Danny I hope you get to the bottom of all this and it turns out for the best.

Dealing with China definitely has its challenges.

Actually for the wire inside the shorty packs they told me 14awg was always used in the model as the cells are to close to the end of the case and 12awg is to hard to use. To be honest I never opened one up but have opened 2S packs before so I assumed it was built the same way as the regular size 2S.

For the use of fake connectors this was a great surprise to me as it's one of my requirements to use real connectors. Guess when you pay upfront and product comes a half across the world your kind of screwed. I'm working on something that I hope will solve this and will post the info as soon as I can.

Assuming that's the roar legal shorty, I have a couple meetings on mine in 2wd sc, punch is fine, I'd recommend just because the extra mah give you more options...I would get nervous running much lower in a 10 minute final so I find it ideal!

FYI, I run the 4300mah shorty in a 13.5 2wd SC and after 20 minutes of solid running the pack was at 3.7v/cell.
