They are 2 cell batteries and you can run them safely down to 3.2 or so. I have my LVC set at about 3.5 just to be safe and give a little extra life to the packs. 1c will be 6.5 amps, I assume you mean for charging? If you have a good charger you can charge them much higher then that.

yes i herd they can take a 2c charge rate but im new to this and my charger also. My charger is the pl6 playing with it now but man there a lot in this guy to set up. so im trying to store the info for lipo up now.

There really isn't much to setup in the PL6 they already have profiles created.

Use generic high power and set the charge amps to 13 and you should be all set.

For cutoff on your ESC you should use 3.4 to 3.5v per cell.

You ordered packs on pre-order and I expect your order to be complete around June 7th.

Only the models in my post above came in this week.

I run a little different setup than most I imagine. I run 1/8th E-buggy only at the moment. I have 4 4S 6500mah packs that I bring with me charged to the track. First pack is warmup + heat 1, 2nd is for heat 2, 3rd is for BMain (if necessary), and 4th pack is for the AMain. I run my cutoff V in the ESC @3.6V( I almost never hit the cutoff). I then take them home and charge them at 1C (6.5A) to 3.8v(storage V), and then to full charge usually 1-2 days before my next race.

When doing storage cycling (like over the winter) I charge them to 3.8v(storage V) then once a month charge them @ 1C to full charge, and then discharge them @ 3C to 3.6v (my charger has a built in 30A discharge circuit appx 4.3C max) and then wait an hour and recharge them back to 3.8v(storage V). This is a really easy life cycle for my lipo packs and they seem to last alot longer this way.

Can you give me an ETA of when you might have the 4S 6500 packs (#6570-4S2P) back in stock??

This model will be back in stock around the 7th of June with a big shipment of 7200-70C-2S Deans and Inboard.

Danny/SMC 05-23-2013 11:06 AM

The 6500-60C-4S came in today and we're starting to ship out pre-orders. Unfortunately the pre-orders are using the entire shipment so there will be no packs available to list on the site.
