I have been having good luck with the 7200mah 2s inboards, great batteries. I do agree that the cases tend to be on the thin side.

Does anyone from SMC monitor with thread? I have a saddle pack I bought in March and am having problems with it. What is SMC's warranty policy when it comes to batteries?

Have you tried contacting them directly via their Web site? That's always a good place to start.

I believe the warranty is just against DOA. I think the guy offers a trade in plan for a little $ off.

I've emailed with Danny at SMC several times through the website and he gets back to me very quickly. Has many times. This alone makes me want to buy more SMC. He has always been quick to answer questions, pre and post sale!

Just adding praise for the 70c 7200mah 2s Lipo's and the 80c Race Formula 2s Lipos
Incredible value for both and I highly recommend them to everyone who is looking for quality lipos. Shipping is quick via USPS and well packaged.

An I'm just adding praise for the Race Formula 80c 5000mah 4s Lipo that just arrived about 20 minutes ago. Strapped that sucker in my 1/10 and all I can say is OMG! The power is just stupid!

Got my first SMC packs. What is normal IR for the saddle packs race formula? Mine are around 4 and 3.9mohms. Was expecting around <2, since my 3500 shorty has an IR of 3.5,3.9 and also some 2 year old packs from IP.
