Futaba 4PL + DSC cable

I have a Futaba 4PL radio and I would like to know if there is any DSC cable to connect it to the computer to play a R/C simulator.

Which simulator? I know some you just use your rx and connect the rx to the pc.

Most people who want to use their TX as a PC controller use something like this: http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...mitter-Adapter . I have one myself & it works very nicely(though I wish it had a third channel to control extra game functions like a turbo boost or a hand brake, or a fire button, etc.)...:cool:

I'm trying to find something that I don't need to use the Rx, just something to connect the Tx straight to the computer.

Why not use the rx?

Because I don't like the idea to take it out from the car any time I want to play.

Do you know if there is any cheap Rx which works with the 4PL?

Try to find one used. What sim are you using?

Looks like if you can change the 4pl to ppm mode it will work, just set the rx mode to NORM.

This should work, you may want to post in the vrc forum for verification.
