Are there older versions like v1 v2 for the tekin rx8 and how do I tell if it's older or newer

The newer version has a red heat sink and the bottom of the case has 3-holes. I believe previous versions had a black heat sink and 4 holes on the bottom.

Does anyone know what the difference is between the 4 holes and 3 holes in the bottom of the case of the RX8?

The newest 3 hole has a redesigned circuit board and stronger case. The 3 hole is more shock resistant. Performance is the same.

tekin redesigned the case because a component became loose on hard jumps. If the ESC has 3 holes it's the good one, but I don't think there are 4 holes cases on the market anymore anyway

That statement is inaccurate. There was never a board change.
