Default BEC question>>>pls help

Hello
I'm new here,I have a Losi 8 and running Tekin T8-1900Kv motor,Hitec-7985MG servo,Mambamax Pro ESC on 4s.
I understand that the Mambamax pro has an internal BEC but do I still need to run another BEC? If not where should I set the BEC on the Mambamax Pro?(5.5-7.5v)
thanks for your help

You do not have to run a separate BEC with that esc. Id mount it on the front...

Depends on the servo your using. I have a MMP with a seperate castle bec. I run a Savox 1268sg servo that is capable of 7.2V so I set the bec to 7.2v
Just look up the specs on your servo and set the bec to the servo's highest capable input. That way your servo will be as fast as possible.

I have heard of glitches with mmp and high voltage servos. That is the reason for the external bec. The external bec puts out more amps.

It looks like your hitec servo has a max of 6.0v.
So you would want to set it there.
