Default help with lipo!

Hello I just bought a rc8be and brushless. I bought a new venom pro charger, 3700 mah reedy 14.8v and 5500 mah reedy 14.8 volts. Both 4s. What amp should I charging 3700 and 5500? How long it should full charged? Is it auto cutoff when full charged? What I suppose to do with new 3700 mah? Break in? How?

Thanks!

I usually don't break in lipos. To be safe you should charge the 3700mah at 3.7a and the 5500mah and 5.5a.

First you need to know what the charge rate is for the packs. Its normally listed on the spec sheet in a C rating. say the 3800 has a 2c charge rate.

3800mAh = 3.8 amps
3.8Ax2c=7.6 amps max charge rate.

Im not familiar with your charger so I cant tell you how it reacts.

As for breaking them in most manufacturers recommend fully charging and balancing then half discharge for the first 5 cycles.
