Default Hyper EOS0606I ac/dc ....need help

I recently purchased a used Hyperion EOS0606I-AC/DC, it charges all my batteries perfect....except rx packs. When I plug rx packs into the side plug it says battery not detected? Is this normal?
Is the only way to solder up a set of leads to plug into the main charge ports for the rx packs to plug into?
There is nothing in the manual about charging rx packs.
I can't figure this out, any other Hyperion owner help me please.

Charger will need both the main leads and balance leads connected

You will have to make (or buy) a lead if your pack does not have such

Cheers

The small servo lead type plug on the side of the charger is only for programming or a temp probe connection (can't remember which) and is NOT for charging. You need to charge all batteries from the main charge ports using the proper connectors.

Get a Squid adapter sold at most RC outlets or online. Has several different types of leads on it. I use it to do lipo car packs, receiver packs, Heck, theres even one to charge my glow ignitor.

And Cyclone is right, the one on the side is for software and sensors ONLY. Use the main lead (with the squid on it,LOL) and you'll be good to go.
