Time to upgrade, what to get?
#1
Hi all,
I hope this doesn't start some sort of brand war.
I am looking to upgrade my old skool futaba 3pm 2.4 .
Budget isn't really an issue, but I don't want to get ripped off either.
I am also after 4-5 receivers too.
I have looked at the new KO radio, and although I like it because its kinda quirky but I have only driven with it once and it felt a little top heavy and with all the "optional extras" required , I'm not sure it's for me.
I like the feel and look of the airtronics mt-4 amd m11 but haven't really played too much with them. I like the idea of the high end futaba stuff but haven't tried either of them.
So my question what is the best high end radio around that is simple to use and additional recievers at a reasonable price. So I am kinda of after user reviews,?
It easy to read all the reviews online but speaking to the racers is where the real info is
Sorry not really interested in spectrum either.
Cheers
John

I just switched from spektrum DX2.0 to a Futaba 4PL, seriously epic radio in comparison. Feels great and i could adjust the wheel and trigger tension to what im used to.
I also got a LifePo battery for it so i dont chew through disposables.
Dont know about the US, but in the UK i can pick up the R2106GF for £25, cheaper than the spektrums.
