Hey guys I just bought another mx-3x (love this particular radio). I bought this brand new and it was straight out of the box. I know i could have, perhaps should have returned it and got another, but curiosity got the best of me.

First i tried the neutral point adjustment and it didn't do squat for the notchy feeling. I noticed this when transitioning from throttle to brakes, right in the neutral spot.

I took the back half of the radio off and had a look at the adjustable trigger assembly. There honestly isnt a whole lot to look at. I looks like plastic halves fused together encasing the return springs and whatnot. All you can see is a couple openings, one with a spring and one with some sort of plastic pivot pin in it.

As i moved the trigger back and forth i can see the spring move a tad, and that pin seemed to "pop" as i went thru neutral. I stuck a small screwdriver in against the pin, applied a little pressure and pulled the trigger again. I didnt feel the pop in the trigger when i did this.

I thought "COOL! now how am i going to fix this?" lol

I dug through my odds and ends in my rc toolbox and found a couple of small grub screws. I believe they were either from some brake linkage parts, an antenna hold screw or perhaps a set screw from a 48p pinion. Not sure but they are all basically the size you would need. Either way it threaded right into that plastic and right against that plastic pin in the trigger assembly.

Perfect!

You will only need to tighten it down until the clicking stops.

Unfortunately i didnt take any pics... If anyone has this issue send me a pic of yours apart and i will highlight the area.

Hopefully this will work with other types of radios with a similar setup and keep you from possibly buying another radio to get rid of a minor nuisance.
