Default Spektrum RX, other TX?

Hey guys,

I've got a Spektrum DSM2 receiver to use with my DX3R transmitter.

My question is, can I use a different brand transmitter to use with the rx? Will it be compatible?

Thanks

Unless that other transmitter is running a Spektrum DSM2 module, no.

There are loads of 2.4ghz radios out there, but every brand uses their own digital encoding. It's just a way of ensuring brand loyalty and charging us loads more money for product.
