Ok I got it to work with xp pack 3 now how do you get the lrp download into the lrp open file so you can choose which update you want?

I have a brand new defective Nosram Comet Evo that I purchased from a hobby ship in Hong Kong just over a month and a half ago. It's unable to hold a constant speed. I contacted Nosram and someone at LRP got back to me and told me to bring it back to the store and get it replaced. I thought is this what they seriously want me to do?This is an inconvenient option for me as I don't live in Hong Kong. Is this how LRP/Nosram warranty replacements normally work? I was hoping there was a way to ship it to them to either get it repaired or replaced.

I'm sure this question has already been answered I'm too lazy to seach the whole forum. I have an LRP x20 17.5 if I swap the stock rotor for a 12.5 tea works sintered rotor is there any added benefits. Can I use the 12.0 or 13.0 rotors? I'm running blinky would it be legal.

Can anyone point me in the right direction for a 13.5 boosted set up with a Trinity D3.5? I did a search but did not come up with anything. I will be running it in a 4wd off road car. I know this is an on road section but could not find anything in the other forum. FDR would help as well. Thanks for any advice in advance.

The d3.5 can take quite a bit of timing (~60deg is common for onroad) so give some thought to base timing plus boost being around that mark at most.

What firmware are you running? Assume a newer one with boost only and no turbo?

I am not sure what version I have. I bought on here NIB and I don't have a bridge yet but it does have the turbo lights (6th one I think). Where would you recommend running my motor timing at? I am running the purple (rpm) rotor, and where should my motor temp like to be. Sorry for all the questions, I am just use to running blinky. Thanks for your help!

This was the final missing ingredient for me. LRP downloader working on windows 8.1 laptop... buh-bye crappy old netbook...

Now for kicks I'm going to try it on my $99 Toshiba windows tablet (similar to the ultra-cheap winbooks microcenter sells).

I'll video the whole thing.

You too! I'm so glad there is a store there to fix all the things I break. Deans leads, Servo case, C-Hub... Nothing like going to TQ to remind you how forgiving the Tamiya track is :) and to remind me how much I need to improve!

.. reading quickly on amazon, their is an HP tablet that might be another option..

just to let you guys know that with windows 8.1 I went to the trouble shooting section and had to select what software the driver last worked on and it gave you choices like XP pack 3 and windows 7 and windows Vista I picked XP pack 3 and it worked and is still working FYI guys

There are many options: HP, Dell, Asus, Acer, Toshiba, Winbook ($60-$140) and more... I use the Toshiba because someone gave it to me for free.

Most of the new 7in and 8in Windows 8.1 tablets have very similar specifications. Usually they have a quadcore 1.33/1.83GHz Intel Atom Z3735G processor with Intel HD graphics, 1GB of memory and either 16GB or 32GB of eMMC Flash memory storage (eMMC is slower than SSD, but still fast). The multi-touch screen has a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels, and there are 2 megapixel cameras front and back, plus one or two tiny loudspeakers. The main connections are a 3.5mm stereo jack, a microSDHC memory card slot, microUSB OTG and HDMI ports, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth 4.

Earlier this year, Microsoft dropped Windows license fees for all devices under 9 inches to encourage hardware makers to launch more Windows Phones, phablets, and tablets. We're starting to see the result of that now.

Put acrobat reader on it and load it up with manuals, software etc I also use it as a quick previewer of gopro/sony action cam footage.

Maybe get RC Crew Chief on it. (V4 is out now I'll have to see how it works on it)
