In short, yes, as far as I am aware you can run the new v4.7 firmware in blinky and get the new braking options. Use the Mode 6 setting, as Dave mentioned, to put the speedo in blinky, and you should still be able to modify the braking settings.

thank you for your comment. I've yesterday realized that I forgot to set the torgh were still set to 10* we have to set mode 5 and 6 to zero. After that it will blink. I also thought it will be enough to set mode 6 to 0 to get blinky.

I was having problems with my motor doing crazy things when using a turbo delay more than 3. 3 is fine, 4 it stalls at more than 50% throttle. I tried messing with the other settings and none of that seemed to matter. Not sure if it's a bug or what. Reedy M2 6.5 motor at 20 degrees timing.
The mode 3 brakes are impressive.

Track is 24 by 12 meters but a fairly tight infield with a long straight. FDR is 5.78 ,rollout is 34.8,timing insert is 27.5,motor has fan, settings on Flow Team Works with 5.0 stock firmware are;
0-4-3-5-5-3-0
the motor can is coming off under 40 degrees measured with a temp gun after a 5 minute race, feels like the it has some boost but not coming in totally(can't hear it much when racing).

Those setting are a little conservative.
Does the car feel dead in the infield?

I think it might still be accelerating,hard to tell tbh. Seems ok in the infield. Do you have any suggestions on setting, or whether to gear down or increase settings?
I do run a exzes z and 472 rec so should be able to log rpm if i can work out how to do it!
