Thanks for the infos guys!
I can understand that nobody wants to give out his settings after he worked so long on it. On the other hand a perfect setting will never be perfect for any other track/temperature/car/driver. So giving ideas for a base setting is always suitable.

And this is what I need. Our clubchampionship has chosen the Reedy Sonic 10.5t as stock motor for the coming outdoor season. Esc, battery and everything else is free as long as it is EFRA TC. With the esc free to choose it is clear that boost is needed to be with the pack. I could avoid the boost classes until now. And that is why I don't have any experience. So can anyone recommend a boosted base setting for this low to medium grip asphalt track: http://www.amsc-augsburg.de/die-renn...erie/index.php
Temperatures will be around the 20°C. What gearing should I start with?

I don't understand why LRP have released a new speedy without any starting points for settings in the instructions?
Trying to get my x12 13.5 set correctly, there's no info on where to start in terms of boost & gearing.

LRP just post firmware for the Flow on their web site

Update v5.0 - special Stock Only firmware
optimised values for various mode settings, so you can adjust in finer steps for Stock racing compared to standard v1.4 firmware.

Update v4.0 - special Onroad Modified firmware
optimised values for various mode settings, so you can adjust in finer steps for Onroad Modified racing compared to standard v1.4 firmware.

Update v3.3 - special Offroad Modified firmware
1. optimised values for various mode settings, so you can adjust in finer steps for Offroad racing compared to standard v1.4 firmware
Refer to mode spec sheet for exact details
2. adjusted brake response with separate brake adjustment
3. adjusted drive frequency for smoother control

So is 10.5 boosted considered Special Stock or Modified? Reckon I'll go with modified as that seemed to be what Olly Jefferies was running in the UK for 10.5 and 13.5??

Just tried to download the new firmware but it does not open. The folder has 2 files, 1 is a pdf telling you what it does which you can open - The other is the update I guess but you cannot open it? (Stock v5.0)

Any ideas?

Sorted - Needed to save file rather than open.

By the Way - Ollie is running v5.0 Stock for his 13.5 (Not sure about 10.5 though)

Hi guys,
I'm running Flow in my modified car with x20 5.0T motor and it works great. Recently I have started racing 1:10 4WD buggy so I bought second flow esc. I'll run it with x12 6.5T motor. Can someone suggest some good settings for mid/large carpet track? I'm sorry for posting this in onroad thread but i think the flow thread does not exist in offroad section.

The firmware revision sheet from the website states to refer to the mode spec sheet for details on each firmware variant...where can one find this "mode spec sheet"?..sorry found it...doh!

That's the PDF file join on each firmware zip file you download.
