Default What ESC suits my application?

Hey guys I have a Tekin 17.5 motor with no ESC to pair it too. I am on a budget and would like to know what ESC would be good to pair with this motor under $100. It would be ran in a Traxxas 2wd Slash with a 2s Lipo. Thanks

I have a few of the older style brushess hobbies esc's and they have been flawless, very pleased, and can't beat the price.

Hobbywing Xtreme Stock.

I used to use a Tekin RS, but after trying a Hobbywing I changed over to one.

Can use down to a 11.5 for offroad.

Grab one for $80 and the LCD programing box for around $20.

Cheers
Rob.
