Traxxas Link 2.4 Tx/Rx Problem
#1
I run Traxxas Link 2.4G Rx/Tx's in my rigs. They're cheap, and they do the trick for me. But recently I've come across an issue with the Tx/Rx in my Ofna Ultra LX2-e.
The issue is that the Tx has a continuous blinking green light (batteries are fresh, and it's NOT in program mode) and the Rx has very poor reception range. It's also picking up random signals causing the buggy to act erratically.
I inspected everything yesterday, and noticed that a small portion of the antenna has been ripped off. The small 1.5" portion that comes out after the metal portion at the top of the antenna wire is what was ripped off.
Would that be causing all these problems? And if so, is there any way to repair it? Or should I be shopping for a new Rx? Thanks!
