Yes this is for punch, so far we have won a couple of blinky races with these settings.

If you need even more punch, you can set up the speedo with 100% throttle and tune it up to 120% which will give you more punch.
I however dont think that you need the additional rip but at the end having the feeling one wants is also important.

Display of the new V3.0 software, a way of explaining how and what the different settings work.

The new TX motor is sweeeeet. Looks the shit. Seriously nice built.
Should be out in some weeks. RX2 will still be available parallel to the TX. So you should get both

Hello.

First, sorry for the off topic but:

Why is it so hard to have an answer from AME?

yeah, based on the pix, it does look too low that it might be prone to damage when the motor hits the floor when going through a corner.

does anybody have any other pix of the new motors so we could determine this?

Yes its low, so far in testing we have had Zero issues about that though.
From other car crashing into you on the motor side we have seen more issues with the sensor sitting higher as with the low position it does not seem to get hit. But time will tell, I dont think however that its going to be an issue. If you think that it might be then one can just turn it 90 degrees and have it in a middle position

My son, Andrew Hardman, is running the new motor - a 5.5 in the Mod Class at the IIC. He is really impressed with the motor - and it is about 30g lighter than the older 5.5 which helps with the car setup.

Together with the VX ESC and ORCA batteries - they have helped him get close to the pace of the leaders. He qualified 9th in the 'A'.

Thanks ORCA for great products - and to supporters like Keith and Andreas for the setup help.

Regards,
Ian

Default Setting for 17.5T blinky?

Gentlemen:

Looking for a recommended starting setup for 17.5T blinky sedan. Found some mod setups in this thread, but looking for blinky specifically.

Thanks!

Punch 10
Drive Freq 8K
Brake freq 700
drag brake 3%
Initial brake 3%

This is what I used in my Orca VX at the IIC to qual 2nd and blow out in the main. Mike Haynes TQ'd and won stock with an ORCA VX but unsure of his settings. Blake was also using one in the A main of Stock as well. There were a ton of ORCA's at the event and everyone was happy with their performance and feel.
