Servo Issues
#1
I have a Spektrum S6040 (Same as a Savox SC-1258) that causes my RX to brown out when I turn one direction or centered. It was working fine in vehicle then this started. It is installed in a TLR 22T with proper shims and no binding. If I take off the linkage it works fine and no issues. It would seem like its binding but its not so it has me baffled.
Well I swapped my Savox SC-1251MG in and it does the same thing. I've tried different rxs with the same result. So I know its not a RX or Servo issue. But nothing is binding in the linkage is whats confusing me..

What radio/receiver are you using? I've had brown out issues in the past with my M8 & M11 Spektrum setups in my on-road cars. I've got both the Racers Edge and Spektrum brand glitch buster capacitors, just to see if there was a difference between brands, and my brown out issues have never been a problem since.
I've never experienced a glitching/brown out problem until I had upgraded my setups to digital servos...I'm not saying that's exactly what's causing your issues, just sharing my thoughts.
But give a glitch buster a shot if you have an open receiver slot. It doesn't have to be the most expensive one out there...you could even make your own if you have the necessary bits.
good luck

Ya I'm familiar with glitch busters.. I figured out the problem, sprayed some wd-40 on the aluminum rack and it works good now.. seems like a design flaw as its not supposed to have lubrication.
