External bec or power cap
#1
Okay so I've been doing some reading on the site and I'm trying to figure out which I need because both my Buggys are having radio range issues or brown outs. Both are running spektum sr3000 one has a savox 1256tg in it the other has a stock kyosho perfex servo. The one with the savox has a dx 2.0 coupled to it and the other has a standard losi 2.4 ghz tx coupled. Both Buggys are inferno ve one has the Orion r8 esc and the other has the Orion vortex 8. Both have the standard vortex 1/8 Orion motors. So my question is. Which do I need bec for both or power caps I'm confused as to which one will solve my issue. Cuz so far I've read that they both do about the same thing as far as temporary storage for servos and rx

Think you may be getting the powercap confused with a glitch buster cap
Power caps sit across the ESC battery input and will have nothing to do with your glitching
A glitch buster style cap (plugged into RX) may help with your problem but an external bec is a much better option
Cheers
