I have a ClodBuster I want to put LED headlights and taillights in it, but I want to be able to turn them on and off from my controller so I don't have to stop running the truck to flip a switch on and off.

Obviously it will take some customizing, which is fine, I just need to know how or if it can be done. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated

I know some one makes a module, but I have taken a old Servo & gut the motor out of it, extend the wires.
Plug it into a 3rd Channel & manually twist the head of the servo untill it is setup the way you want & find a way to lock on a horn & secure it to hold calibration.

The PCB on a servo will put out voltage inverse to the center of the head & the radio adjustments.

Last one I did was set off of the 2nd Channel & I had headlights forward & brake lights backwards.

Im interested to know, if there are any Pistol Grip Transmitters, that have 4-5 Channels, that use auxilary switches to turn on and off the 4th and 5th channel?

TX pistol on nowadays most have 4CH.

Sanwa MT4, it is 4 channel transmitter with telemetry system (FHSS-4T).
on factory default. it use dial knob for control CH3, and lever for control CH4.
but you can setting other switch of MT4 for Ch3 or Ch4 as you need.

and Sanwa M11X, Futaba 4PL, 4PK, 4PKS all are 4CH transmitter

The guys over at RCLights.com also make a lot of plug-and-go hardware for driving LED's via your reciever.

The Flysky GT3B is another good option for multi-channel. With psx's custom firmware, you can link them up with the 6 and 8-Channel RX's, and even use all those channels via custom mapping on the controller itself.
