Hey fellas....I have a rookie question. I just replaced a receiver in my used truggy I purchased and the antenna is really long.

Is it ok to cut it without reduciing reception etc.....?

Thanks

NOOOO!!! never cut a receiver wire it wont reduce reception it will make your rx not work properly at all. if its too long just coil the wire up the antenna tube and then under the antenna cap that way its still pointing up but length is reduced

hopefully this helps

On a lot of modern recievers, the actual antenna is just the last inch or so with the rest being just cable.
