Viper Copperhead or Castle Sidewinder SCT?

Which would you choose? Viper is a relatively new company but seems to be on top of their customer service if any problems arise. I like that the Viper has a field programmer as I'd probably use it a lot more often than plugging the ESC into a computer (I don't own a Windows computer). The Castle has been proven to be a good system though. I'm torn!! Whichever combo I choose will go in my SC10RS. Which one would you go with and why?

I havent personally owned viper or delt w/ customer service. But I can say from many experiences that Castle is second to none in customer service. All my experiences have been great. They also offer a field card now for adjustments on the fly.
Get the SIDEWINDER THEN UPGRADE the escc next.

The new Duratrax Element system is made by castle and I belive is backed by castle. as well its super cheap motor and esc combo if your looking to get a 1/10th sensorless system. Its just a rebadged sidewinder and works with castle link and field programers
And by the way, castle does make a field programer as well

having owned a viper system, and a castle system. vipers customer service is awesome- i shipped it out and they turned it around back to me in less than a week. thats awesome!
the viper stuff is quality. try them out, youll be a convert.
not that the castle stuff isnt quality, but sometimes they have been hit or miss with me and the guys a i race with.

I have both.
Castle system.... seems "faster." By that I mean it winds out more. The controller is not as smooth, it is more like a light switch.
Viper system.....Is smoother, love the progauge for adjustability, the top end seems flat with recommended gearing. I geared up and it screams now. Has good torque, but doesn't feel as strong because it is smoother than the Castle.
Another friend who races club races is switching to the copperhead from the sct/3800 combo, too.

Thanks for your advice everyone. I'm probably going to get the Viper system because everyone rants and raves about how smooth it is and how it feels like a sensored system. The Progauge is $50 compared to the Castle field link ($21) but I feel like trying something new and different. Seeing as the Copperhead combo is only $5 more than the Sidewinder SCT, I think I've made up my mind
