Questions?? Servo help ..

Hi all just found this cool site and I really could use some help if possible .. I have a traxxas slash 4x4 and I decided to change out the stock steering servo for a Futaba S9351 Digital High Torque Servo. I opened the receiver cover and pull the steering wire out of it`s spot and check the new futaba one and nothing ! Am I missing something ?? I am sure it must be something stupid! Oh and the radio I am using is the 2.4 stock traxxas radio , til I get my Futaba 4PL soon.

Thanks for all the help in advance!!

Steve

this site is very helpful and i like it hopefully you do to

make sure the black or the darkest wire is facing away (or on the outside of all three wires) from the receiver when plugged in (if im thinking about what your talking about )
