LRP sphere esc question
#2
the sphere competition im assuming because the regular sphere had no lipo cutoff if so there isnt a specific cutoff voltage listed in the manual. but you can not adjust it to other then lipo automatic mode or 4-7 cell nimh mode which lipo mode is the only one you can run that has lipo cutoff

yes that is plenty safe
i just switched out my sphere competition literaly a week ago im running dualsky now for esc and motor
i ran venom 40c 5000mah lipos and it was always a safe cutoff voltage thats the average cutoff voltage for esc's im pretty sure unless they are adjusted to be something else which in this case it cannot be

the tc spec is a great esc not a whole lot different then the competition other then a few features and built in heat-sink
you cant upgrade the firmware on these esc's at least as far as i know because they dont make them anymore due to being replaced by the sxx tc spec the only way to tune them is manually by following instructions in the manual if you dont have the manual they have them on google in pdf formats just search for them

Alright thanks man, i owe you so much. I'm just beginning to upgrade my car to be able to keep up with the other guys in the beginner class. Hopefully i can get good enough to move up to higher classes and become sponsored. I assume you are sponsored right?

yes being sponsored would be awesome
i am not sponsored yet (im only 15 with no car and no way to get to any big competitions out of my area, when i get a "real" car i will be doing nothing but racing to get noticed and hopefully race for a company someday, i have been offered, notfor anything huge like cars yet jus little things but like i said i really cant get any recognition for em anywhere outside my area yet, my signature just says those brands cause that's all i run for now and would like to stick to em
