FLYSKY GT3C TRANSMITTER

Now that these are available, has anyone on here used one yet? They look decent (appears only the anodised orange color version is available at the moment), do they run upgraded firmware (read: better) compared to the GT3B to cure the slight latency issue people are always on about? Thinking about selling my unused GT3B to grab one.....
The lipo pack is a very nice touch, and would probably be one of the main reasons for my purchase (besides the price).

losikid has had one for a while. I haven't heard anything about the stock fw, but psx's alternate fw works on it. he has made a few changes to accommodate the gt3c, like a lower limit on the voltage alarm and the ability to flip the operation of the encoder.
losikid did state that the wheel has a ball bearing in it though. you can find his review on rccrawler.com

I got mine today and....... well let's just say I am going to be waiting for the Ebay seller to respond and send me another. Too bad as I am really looking forward to using it.
My issue....... the rolling button for enter and up<-> down adjustments doesn't work worth a dang. So I can't adjust end points. Can fake it with many of the other adjustments with some patience but the end point numbers just bounce around and each time you get them coming down, boom pops back up to 120 % again.
I'll let you know how I make out once I receive the replacement.

Just got my GT3C and it seems cool enough, but have a couple of problems from the get go.
The manual disc is blank and Flysky don't offer it as a download.
There is no 3.5mm DSC socket for running a sim on the P.C. despite it saying there is one in the spec. The provided USB connection does not want to be friends with my P.C.
Other than that it seems very nicely made, is super light and feels great in the paw.

I just ordered the GT3C flashed version from Losikid's website, so I am assuming there were issues with the firmware. I had a problem with my GT3b, when tightening the top srews it would bind the wheel, resisted turning & pressing. The rresolve ways to lossen the screws til it unbound. Strange problem, never brave enough to remove the top.

I've now had a chance to test the radio a bit more. Used the GT3b manual to suss how to bind and whatnot.
So I took my brushless XX4 to the track with this radio and it was perfect. Easy to set up and the EXPO works a treat.
I'll try my Alpha powered Xray 808 next, that will put a bit more load on things.

On my site you can find a review of the GT3C with some photos and how to flash the firmware.
Sorry, my site is only in czech lang, but you can use the Google translator.

Think i'll stick to the GT3B for now....seems like quite a few people are having issues with the GT3C's doing all sorts of crazy things, not to mention some QC issues from the factory for wiring/soldering in the units (from what Losikid has mentioned in a post in another thread).
I'll wait it out, no rush.

Received my GT3C this week flashed to 0.6.1 firmware by Losikid. Binding was exactly like the 3B unit. this transmitter is light, almost knocked off on to concrete, MY advise is to lay on it's side vs standing it up.
Only ran my HPI Flux XS so far, but very easy to use, light weight & comfortable. As to durability we'll have to see. So far on 2 hours of use I would have to give it 9 Out Of 10.
