Default Breaking down functions....

Hey guys i was wondering if we could breakdown some of the functions in most of our controllers....

Can we discuss EPA? what does it do, how best to begin setting it?

lets do this for all of the functions our controllers share

subtrim?
expo?
Dual Rate?

and any other functions you may think of?

thank you

What radio do you have?

Different manufacturers call the same things by different names.

Usually the manuals have a good description of the function.

Not all radios have all the functions.

RTR radios have very few functions.

Subtrim is letting you trim the esc or servo without having you use the buttons externally of your radio. Expo is letting you turn up the performance or speed of your ESC, or extend your servos reach. Dual rates can help you slow down a certain function of your radio and vehicle to make it easier or more comfortable to drive. I hope that this helps.

Those functions are to set up the radio for your preferences.

Subtrim is only used if and only if you can not center your steering or throttle by adjusting the linkges, it will allow you to adjust the centering electronically but that will offset the final travel.

Expo or exponential will adjust the feel on either side of nuetral either soften the effect or make it more aggressive.

Dual rate can be used to reduce the amount of steering throw you have.
