Default Futaba ESC battery limits

first post: I have two old cars, one running a Futaba MC112B ESC and the other a MC210CB ESC...are the ESCs capable to run with a 3000 NIMH battery? I might be a day late, dollar short...I already tried and I think I fried both ESCs. They were OK running with 1500 NiCad batteries. Thanks...

Old cars are: Team Associated B3 and Losi Jr truck

A 3000mah pack is going to deliver the same voltage as your 1500's. Your motor choice is more likely to be the issue.
