Esc help
#1
Hey guys, I'm looking to get an esc for my b4.1. Are there any suggestions on a reliable, adjustable, and cheap esc. I'm on a really strict budget so something under $100 will have to do. I was looking at the ezrun 35a sl esc with the programming box. Is this thing any good?
Thanks!!

that motor is fine with about any Speed controller on the market. I would skip the 35a. Not that its not a decent esc but its going to be near its limits and if you decide to upgrade motors later you will have to upgrade your esc again. Hobbywing makes Speed Passion so they are both very very good but since you cannot find a Hobbywing Xerun in the us hardly for a decent price, The Speed Passion for the price is very very hard to beat. dont let the price tag fool you either it is a rock solid esc that is compairable to the very best including Tekin,LRP,Orion and others.

ok, thanks. Since I just got the b4.1, my parents wont let me buy anything too expensive for it. If u guys can find anything else that is just a TINY bit cheaper, i might be able to buy it, but thanks for the help thus far. I will definetly take all that you have said into consideration.

Yes it will be getting hot very quick because it will be pushing its MAX amp loads all the time. go check out Brushlesshobbys.com they have an 120a and 60a esc that are rebranded Hobbywing stuff. Very very good quality and I heard they stand by what they sell on that site. The 120A which is WAY WAY overy kill for your b4.1 is around $58 SHIPPED and the 60A is around $45 shipped! be sure to get a LCD program box to get the most out of it and you will have a Killer Esc.
