Default KO Propo RSx servo - help with programming

Hello I recently bought 4 pieces of the RSx Response H.C servos.
the supplier only had 1 in stock, so three had to be ordered from japan, wich took 2 month. The sticker/decal differs a little bit beetween the 3 new and the one that were in stock.

the one that were in stock work properly, it turns 60 degrees to left and 60 degrees to right!

BUT, the 3 new that had to ordered from factory does only turn 60 degrees to right, and ONLY 20 degrees to left.. First I thought my EPA settings were wrong, but after testing diffrent channels and changing servos I have come the conclusion that my setting are not wrong, as the "old" RSx servo works properly..

So I assume this is a programming-matter and the servo is programmed in it's hardware, as I use Futaba 4PKS, I can't use the setting-card..

So I found a ICS USB-adapter, and software on KO's homepage, so I downloaded the software are tried it out (haven't ordered the USB adapter yet) But it seems like I only can program the EPA simultaneously for left/right
and not adjust only left, that's moving only 20 degrees..

So, you guys that have the RSx servos, what do you have to say about this?
Is it possible to program the EPA left/right separated through ICS??
Or is this a bad batch of the RSx servos as three of them are acting the same, and only one is working properly?

I have e-mailed the store that I bought them from, but as it's weekend now I'll probably won't get any anser until monday from them!

Kind regards

They also seem to go slower in left direction, the direction that will not move properly.. But if I reverse the servo, all the "problems" will get reversed aswell.. that will say, left will swing out fine with good speed, but right goes slower and will not sing properly..

Have tried diffrent channels and even diffrent radio gear but the problem still remains.. only one, the one that the shop had in stock works fully properly.
I have read a little about the ICS, and don't seem like this property is adjustble, I guess this this was a bad batch =/

Got one and holy .... That's an awesome servo. Can't really use anything else after this one.

Think you got an issue with those three as I don't recall this problem could be cure by the ics, only usefull to changes speed and torque settings.

Send a pm to "KoPropo Staff" here on that site, Robert is very helpfull but he might not have seen your thread.

I have 8 of these servos. It took me a little bit to weed out the noisy others. These are great servos. Recently I sent one that was used for steering in an 1/8 scale buggy since oct 2010 and it needed a new set of gears and a lead because I pinched it but $40 and it's like new again. These are great servos best I have ever seen. I was talking to another mfg of brand X and he was telling me about all these comparison tests from brand X to their competitors and how brand X shined in all areas. I asked him about the KO servos and he said you mean the rsx line? He said that they are the baddest on the market right now and brand X is working to release something like it.

Thank you for your input, did you send it back to Japan?
How long did it take before you got it back?

Regards

I have solved this matter,

It seems like KO had a problem with a small batch of the response servos.
Iv'e sent them back to Japan and awaiting replacements. KO are aware of this problem.

Default I have the exact same problem.

What was the solution on this matter?
Just got my 2 new RSX Power servos.
Installed it in my MP9 and then one of them will only go prox 20 degrees in one direction (also slower then the other direction).
I bought them on RCMushroom. Did you send them directly to Japan or to the store you bought them?

Ko made a small patch of wrongly programmed servos. Send those back to the dealer. Ko will replace them with new one.

I have a Q on the programming:

If I don't buy the programmer card etc, do I still get the quoted speed and torque?

They seem like such good servo's on the specs, but that doesn't help if I can't get the quoted specs so does anyone know?

I don't know. I have a RSX Response servo and I also have the ICS programmer but I have never hooked it up to it, this thing is badass out of the box. One of these days when I'm bored I'll have to hook it up.
