help airtronics mx3x with sc10

Hi guys I'm new to the hobby and i need some help please. I just bought an mx3x radio and receiver and I want to put it in my sc10. I connected the esc (stock esc brushless )and servo and after I turned on everything I noticed the the esc takes a longer time to allow me to use the throttle than my original stock radio ,and also I cant stop the car to go in reverse. Besides this, the servo and the trottle work fine except that when I give "gas" and releive, the car doesnt stop but goes back in reverse .... like i said I'm new and I dont know much about this so if somebody can help, I appreciate it. Thanks

do you have any documents for your esc that allows you to set it's throttle neutral brake range to the new tx

sorry i cant give more info then that as i have never played with the rtr kit. but pretty much all esc whether its cars or air need their range set to the tx
