So I just got a new radio, and I would rather not destroy this one in a year by banging around inside my toolbox like the last one. At the same time, I have a giant toolbox that I carry inside with me that has way more stuff then I need on the average night where I just race and don't break anything or need to adjust shock oils.
I would love to find a small box that would be able to hold and protect my radio, as well as charger / power supply, a car stand, and a few basic tools. Then I could just bring that in with me, and if I break something or need some of my other stuff I can always go get the big box from the car.
Something like this would be perfect

except according to the reviews the inside height is only about 4 3/4in, too short for my 5 1/4 inch thick radio. They don't have it in stock, so I can't test it out.
What do you guys use to protect your radio? Any ideas?
