Default Mamba Monster Cogging Problem

I just finished up my basher ride and I am having a issue with the motor cogging. I am running 2 3s max amps lipos 100c rating so its not a amperage issue. Also my gearing is under what it recommends, There is also no binding in the truck either. I am running a basic software setup, motor timing neutral aswell as start power. Could this possibly be a faulty motor? Have any of you guys had the same issue I am having..?

What happens is once I get the truck rolling all of the power kicks in, It has no punch from a stand dtill, Almost like punch control is on but I have it disabled.

Any suggestions?

It is a losi 8ight T 1.0 running a 14T pinion and a 45T spur. I put my thunderpower G6 pro race batterys in it also and its doing the same thing. I also just got done changing motors and its still doing it. Could it possibly be a Faulty ESC?

Have you calibrated the ESC to your transmitter with your throttle trim centered and throttle / brake EPA's set at 100% ?

Set your start power to high

Try rolling back the ESC firmware

Cheers

Yes everything is calibrated correctly, I am going to try to put a earlier software on it, I noticed the cogging when I updated it. I didnt really think about a software issue.

unplug each bullet connector and place it in a pair of pliers, then try and pull the wire out of the plug, often a bad solder joint won't be immediately obvious but will cause cogging, I find this is the best way to see if there is a weak joint.

Default check your reciever

I had the same problem, it just happened to be a bad reciever. However, the reciever is now in my 1/10th buggy and it works great, it sounds crazy but I guess it just needed a bit faster response that a nicer reciever would give.
