Default connector question

Can someone tell me if a t-style connector is the same as the deans connector?

i have deans connectors now(starter box) but im going to get one lipo so i dont have to use 2 nimh batts. The lipo i was looking at on absolute hobbyz says it has a t connect(it is protek).

Kool, I did the same thing saves weight, plus more starting power, and watch for puffing all lipos don't do well with bump boxes.. plus invest in a lipo volt meter

ok ill look into the volt meter, hopefully the lipo will work good with my box. it is the associated box, it has one motor, a 775 i think.
