Default Lipo balancer - Before or During charge?

Had to pick up a separate balancer (CellMatch), as my Onyx 230 doesn't balance.

Question - Is it best to use this before or during the charge? Also, I thought it mentioned discharging the battery. I assume itonly does so enough to balance the cells? Being that you don't want to bring a lipo down to far.

Thanks for any help with this newb question. I THINK I'll finally be set once I get this squared away

Plug it in during.

Correct. Balancing while discharged is almost always counter productive. Being balanced at full charge is what is important.

Yeah Dave, it makes the most sense during, I agree. The directions mentioned how it could be used standalone though, so that's what made me question it.

Seems to work nicely during charge, thanks again guys.
