Default Orion R8 issue

I have a Orion R8 pro esc and a Orion MR8 2100kv motor. Im running a 4s lipo, and i went through and set the speed control, turned reverse off, selected 4s, turned lipo cut off to correct setting and the esc senses wether its sensored or sensorless. Now my issue is when i hook the sensor wire up it runs on what seems like half power, if i unhook the sensor wire run fine at normal power. So i sent it back and they sent me a new one and same problem, i bought a new sensor wire and still no result runs on what seems half power still. So at this point i thought it was the motor, i borrowed my buddies tekin RX8 and runs fine even sensored so i know my motor is fine. So now im stuck not sure what to do, i have turned the punch control up and down and that didnt help, as well as turned the timing up and down and nothing still same issue. It dose work fine sensorless but would like it to be sensored so let me here your suggetions thanks.

Try another sensor cable, I blow through those things like there's no tomorrow! Were you using the same sensor on the RX8?

Hmmm....call Orion? That's really weird man, and nobody will be able to tell you how to fix the problem the best way possible but Orion. Honestly I don't think I have ever had a problem with sensor cables causing a decrease in speed.
