Default Is my 2s LiPo dying?

I have a couple of hard case 2s-1p LiPo batteries I use for SC 2wd racing, both are 3800mah. One is an 'Team Orion 30c race spec' and the other is an 'IP 25c+ race spec. The 'Team Orion' will trigger the low voltage cut on my speed control after using only 2500mah and the 'IP' will use 3400mah!

I have my low voltage cut set at 3.0v/cell.

Are the batteries dying? Is there anyway of rejuvenating them? Is it just normal?

Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

How old are they and how many cycles have they done ?

How do you store them when not in use ?

What voltage are the packs when you throw them on the charger ?

3.0v / cell as an LVC is too low if you want your packs to last a while

Cheers

I can't say for sure as I bought them 2nd hand about two years ago. I don't normally run them until LVC. I race once a week most weeks and cycle them twice per race meet. 3x 5min heats and 1x 10min final, heats use roughly 1000-1200ma and finals approx 2000-2400ma. I always charge my batteries the next day but don't use them again until the next weeks racing. As for what voltage when I put them on charge, I think roughly 7.8v after each heat, not sure after the final. I do usually use the 'Team Orion' pack for finals though!
Cheers

Two years of weekly use is the outer limit of a pack's peak performance, especially for the earlier gen lipos. That they're dropping off after what has been at least 200 cycles is not unexpected.

Thanks for your replies, I'll keep using them for now as they still work fine for the racing Im doing but I will get a couple of new LiPos soon.
Cheers,
Kris
